This is a basic tenant of environmentalism and has even been incorporated into aspects of international agreements such as the Convention on Biodiversity (CBD) which the US is NOT a signatory.... does that suprise you?

Wireless technology serves many valid human purposes. Wireless technologies have penetrated the remotest corners of the globe and will soon be ubiquitous, with billions of units in use. In this report we consider both costs and risks of wireless technologies, employing a holistic framework for evaluating technological impacts. We discuss wireless technology in developing countries, environmental issues associated with wireless, and health concerns.

HCRA Championship

Raced in my first Hawaii canoe championship yesterday. A full story in the advertiser. Our club, Healani, did well coming in third overall in the A division with 8 boats qualifying. I paddled in my first state championship sitting in the 3rd seat of the mixed boat in Nov B. It was a great day with over 10,000 folks from around the State attending. What a great season! The men's boat got a 1st, after all the drama this past two weeks, it was a great accomplishment. We drank til we all got drunk and Ed as per usual passed out again. Congrats to all!
